One of my favorite pastimes in Yosemite is to wander along the crest of domes in Tuolumne. The ancient junipers that are rooted in seemingly solid granite each have their own story to tell. They seem to be the guardians of the High Sierra, watching thousands of storms pass, seasons come and go, always enduring and resolute, made more beautiful and compelling through hardship.
