On perfectly still evenings about a half hour after the sun has gone down a wonderful glow is created on the surface of Mono Lake. Walking through cold ankle deep mud and waiting for the light to come up was well worth the effort for this photograph. Photo © copyright by Michael Ambrose.
Metal Prints
The Photograph is developed onto a thin sheet of aluminum using a process called Dye Sublimation. This fantastic process yields a rich glossy print that is incredibly resistant to scratching, and cleanable using normal glass cleaner. The piece appears to "float" on the wall thanks to a subframe. Beautiful, rich and durable, these are the most popular presentation for my larger pieces. Available in sizes up to 8 feet on the long edge.
