Golden Gate Bridge

From the Marin Headlands, north of San Francisco, it’s easy to see why the Golden Gate bridge is regarded as one of humanity's greatest achievements. The contrast in the landscape from one side to the other is striking. To the south rises San Francisco and its beautifully cosmopolitan skyline, while just a scant two miles away the coastal hills are shrouded in fog, mountain lions prowl, and red tail hawks soar.
