Clearing Storm over Big Sur

As one winds their way south on Highway 1 from Carmel, much of the view is blocked by dense stands of Monterey Cypress. Then, all at once, the trees end and one of the most sublime vistas on earth unfolds before you. Henry Miller said: “Big Sur is the California men dreamed of years ago.” On this evening this was the light I had been dreaming of for some time, and all the poison oak I got from making this photograph was well worth it. Metal Prints
The Photograph is developed onto a thin sheet of aluminum using a process called Dye Sublimation. This fantastic process yields a rich glossy print that is incredibly resistant to scratching, and cleanable using normal glass cleaner. The piece appears to "float" on the wall thanks to a subframe. Beautiful, rich and durable, these are the most popular presentation for my larger pieces. Available in sizes up to 8 feet on the long edge.
